When I purchased my LELO Liv, I received a free bullet vibrator with it. This bullet is your standard bullet vibrator. It runs on 2 double A batteries and has a single silver bullet made of ABS plastic that vibrates attached to a wire that attaches it to the vibrators controller. I really like that it uses double A’s as those are reasonably sized batteries that are not crazy or impossible to find.
Generally I would ignore something like this, and I did for a few months. I didn’t even think of using it until I purchased my joque harness and my watch battery bullet was dead. I wanted a vibrator I could use in the harness and thus I remembered the Cal Exotics bullet.
Overall this is a decent vibrator. The vibrations the bullet gives off are surprisingly strong, though a bit buzzy. I found using it in a harness pouch or through clothing helps mitigate the buzziness though. The controls are simple, just a slide wheen from high to low. To turn it on you just slide the wheel up, and to turn it off you simply slide the wheel all the way down. There is no on off switch which can be kind of annoying as any movement against the wheel can cause it to turn on or off. With the slide wheel you would think that there would be multiple vibration strengths, but really there is only about 3. You don’t feel a gradual increase as you turn the wheel, more of a jump to the next level as you turn it far enough to change the speed.
I’d recommend this for those seeking a simple bullet vibrator as it is inexpensive, made of a safe material (ABS plastic), and has pretty strong vibrations. The noise level I’d say is about a 3 out of 5, so it is semi quiet toy. It is also a great bullet for use in harness play, if you don’t mind the cord. I found that tucking the controller and excess cord into the hip strap of my harness works pretty well, though it occasionally can turn the slide wheel and adjust the vibrations on its own.
